UVDTF & DTF instructions

DTF Heat Press Instructions

Step 1: Lint roll your garment to remove any dust, lint, or fibres.

Step 2: Preheat your heat press. Recommended temperature: 140–160°C (284–320°F). Note: temperature may vary depending on garment material. We recommend testing on a spare piece first.

Step 3: Place your DTF design on the garment and press firmly for 10 seconds.

Step 4: Carefully peel off the carrier sheet. It can be peeled hot or cold depending on preference and material.

Step 5: Cover your design with a Teflon sheet or piece of parchment paper and re-press for 10 seconds to fully seal the transfer and improve durability.

UVDTF Transfer Instructions

Step 1: Thoroughly clean the surface where you will apply your UVDTF to ensure a flawless transfer.

Step 2: Use a squeegee with gentle pressure to rub over both sides of your UVDTF. This ensures the design fully transfers onto the B film.

Step 3: Slowly peel the B film away from the backing paper, making sure the design has completely transferred onto the B film.

Step 4: Carefully place the design onto the prepared surface. Position it correctly, as it cannot be repositioned once adhered.

Step 5: Use a squeegee or sponge to firmly rub over the UVDTF from the center outward. This ensures proper adhesion and removes any air bubbles.

Step 6: Slowly peel back the B film to reveal your final design.

Note: Hand wash only to preserve the design.

DTF Garment Washing Instructions

To preserve your DTF print, follow these guidelines:

Wash temperature: Machine wash cold or warm, up to 40°C (104°F). Avoid hot water, as it may cause the print to fade or peel.

Washing method: Turn the garment inside out before washing. Use a mild detergent, avoiding bleach or harsh chemicals. Do not use fabric softeners, as they can affect adhesion.

Drying: Hang dry. Avoid direct ironing on the printed area.

Ironing: If ironing is necessary, place a Teflon sheet or cloth over the print. Iron on a very low heat only.

General care tips: Wash similar colours together. Avoid stretching the printed area immediately after washing. Proper care can extend the life of the DTF print for many washes.

We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by: Incorrect heat settings, uneven pressure, fabric incompatibility, failure to follow application or care instructions

UVDTF Product Care Instructions

To preserve your UVDTF print on hard surfaces, follow these guidelines:

Cleaning: Wipe the surface gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges, harsh chemicals, or strong detergents that could damage the print.

Heat exposure: Avoid placing items in direct heat (e.g., ovens, microwaves, dishwashers or near radiators).

Handling: Handle items with care to avoid scratching or chipping the printed surface.

General care tips: Do not soak printed items in water for extended periods. Avoid dropping or hitting the item, as UVDTF prints can chip or scratch. Gentle handling will help maintain the quality and longevity of the print.

We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by improper handling, excessive heat, or failure to follow application or care instructions.

Ordering Custom Services

When placing an order for our Custom Services, it is essential to ensure that your files meet the quality and specifications required for printing.

Please note we are unable to process any direct refunds once the order is placed.

We cannot be held responsible for the quality of images uploaded, and refunds cannot be issued for issues arising from low-quality files after printing. Additionally, we cannot guarantee that amendments to images will be accommodated once files have been uploaded.

Please be aware that using extremely thin fonts or very small images can make the transfer process more challenging and may result in fine details not transferring correctly.

For very thin fonts, we recommend adding a slight offset to improve adhesion and ensure a smoother transfer. Hairline fonts and delicate images may not pick up enough adhesive to adhere properly.

For DTF transfers, additional pressure may be required to ensure finer fonts adhere correctly. We cannot be held accountable for the outcome of thin fonts or intricate designs.

By carefully reviewing your files before submission, you help ensure the best possible results for your custom order.
